This bath/dressing room in a stylish home in Short Hills, NJ was given a complete makeover erasing the 1970's layout that included an enormous, blue-tiled tub in the center of the room, glass-block walls, and a white Formica vanity. By reversing the arrangement, the vanity takes center stage under the skylight and the rarely-used tub is in the corner. All vestiges of the old bath are gone and in it's place is an elegant room sheathed in travertine with a custom vanity and recessed medicine cabinets in Oak veneer.
Two separate water closets are placed discretely behind the vanity wall and the steam shower is encased in travertine.
Sinks and faucets by Laura Kirar from Kallista and tub from Waterworks.
